Huawei Mate 40 Pro + leaked packaging box shows huge RAM and color options


Huawei will launch its latest flagship series, the Mate 40 series next week. While waiting for the official launch of these devices, we have more information on these smartphones. According to a recent leak, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro + will have up to 12 GB of RAM. Today, Weibo blogger @Ark posted an image of the Mate 40 Pro + packaging box. The packaging box shows that this smartphone will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

Additionally, the leaked image shows that this unit is a “ceramic black” color option. What we can also see in the box is that the phone supports the China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom 5G networks.

According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate 40 Series Global Conference is scheduled for October 22 at 8 p.m. Beijing time (2 p.m. on October 22, Central European Time). This series will include four models including the Porsche Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS models. All four models will ship with Huawei’s new Kirin 9000 SoC. However, the rear camera design of all models will be different.

According to reports, the Mate 40 Porsche Design will support a body temperature measurement function. It will have an app that measures the temperature of objects and human bodies. According to the description of the thermometer app, users need to align the device’s sensor with the temperature measuring object. There should be no obstruction or heat source within 50cm to achieve a good result. In addition, the distance between the sensor and the object is 1 to 3 cm. Then click on “Measure temperature” and hold it firmly until it vibrates. You can also use the volume up key or the volume down key to start the temperature measurement.
