Process and control today | PROSEAL PRESENTS INNOVATIONS IN FOOD PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY

Proseal’s sealing solutions that offer food manufacturers maximum efficiency, flexibility and quality will be on display at parent company JBT’s stand at this year’s Anuga FoodTec. (Hall 6.1 Booth A030 F049).

The Proseal GT2e high-speed tray sealing machine and recently launched CP3™ fully automatic case packing system will be on display to demonstrate the company’s capabilities across a wide range of food markets including fresh produce, meat and seafood. poultry and ready meals.

Capable of sealing up to 120 atmospheric packs per minute, the GT2e incorporates several proven features developed by Proseal that help deliver quality seals at high speeds. Incorporating Proseal’s innovative E-seal® electric sealing technology, which increases seal strength by 600% while reducing energy consumption by 92%, the GT2e ensures excellent sealing reliability to meet stringent industry requirements of food retail, while realizing valuable cost savings and the benefits of sustainability.

In addition, speeds are also improved with features such as servo-controlled pack transfer, which creates smooth movement for trays throughout the sealing process, with self-centering pack guides ensuring trays are positioned accurately during sealing. Automatic film break and film end detection also helps maintain consistent operation.

The Proseal CP3™ case packing machine combines efficient energy consumption and a compact footprint with the ability to fill cases at up to 120 packs per minute. Key to this performance is Proseal’s proven ProMotion™ tray feeding system, which maximizes throughput by using motion tracking and smart buffer technology to effectively control the flow of the trays, allowing them to continuously feed the machines without stopping.

Additionally, the CP3™ can handle a wide variety of packaging formats, including trays and jars, in materials such as A-PET, C-PET and cardboard, providing the flexibility demanded by food manufacturers.

The high performance of Proseal’s tray sealing machines and case packing systems is further enhanced by the use of the company’s QR conveyors, which in addition to ensuring reliable and consistent tray entry and exit, incorporate quick release straps that allow quick and easy disassembly and reassembly for easy cleaning. This helps to meet the fast changeover and maximum hygiene requirements of busy food packaging environments.

Proseal is part of the JBT Corporation family, one of the world’s leading providers of technology solutions for high-value segments of the food processing industry, committed to providing service that exceeds customer expectations.

JBT will also be showcasing several of its food processing solutions at the booth, including fresh cut, robotics, steaming, filling and sealing, and high pressure processing.
